    Helen is a strategic leader with extensive experience in fitness, hospitality, and leisure, working across the UK, Europe, Southern Africa, and the USA. She has scaled businesses, led high-performing regional teams, and delivered transformation for organisations including David Lloyd Clubs, Mosimann’s, Tate Galleries, and Sun International.

    Recognised for her ability to align leadership teams around a clear purpose, Helen translates vision and values into everyday behaviours that deliver results. She combines commercial acumen with a deep understanding of how engaged teams create loyal customers and sustainable growth.

    As an accredited coach, she also works one-to-one and with groups to help leaders achieve their personal and professional goals.

    At The Engagement Engine, Helen helps operators turn culture into a competitive advantage, building teams that deliver consistency, service excellence, and long-term results.

    Chris Sharman is a leading figure in the sport, leisure, and children’s activity sectors, with nearly 30 years of experience driving innovation, engagement, and professionalisation. With a career spanning senior management, operations, and consultancy, Chris founded Kidztivity in 2010, building a unique ecosystem that empowers over 1,000 customer-facing businesses and individuals to grow, adapt, and deliver exceptional experiences.

    Chris’s passion lies in helping organisations across sport, fitness, leisure, and youth activities connect meaningfully with their communities. His strategic insight and hands-on approach have delivered transformative results for global brands like Disney, Universal Studios, David Lloyd, and Virgin Active.

    As a champion for innovation and inclusivity, Chris believes that true business growth starts with authentic engagement. He is dedicated to supporting leaders and teams to unlock their potential.
